Who is Socrates?

Socrates was a Greek philosopher from Athens who they think founded Western philosophy. Socrates was born in 670 BC and died 399 BC.

The death of Socrates in 399 BCE, was a poisoning by drinking hemlock. He died because he was found guilty of corrupting the youth.
